What does the 5-year Dentistry Program include?

The Universidad Europea de Madrid in Alicante offers a five-year Dentistry programme in English, combining rigorous theoretical education with extensive practical training. In the first year, students study Anatomy and Physiology, Cellular Biology and Genetics, Epidemiology, Public Health, and Research Methodology, using modern labs. The second year includes Anaesthesiology, Dental Materials, Pharmacology, Medical Specialties, Oral Radiology, Anatomical Pathology, and Psychology. The third year covers Bioethics, Oral Medicine, Orthodontics, Dental Therapeutics, Periodontics, Preventive Dentistry, and Prosthodontics, with practical sessions. The fourth year focuses on Dental Aesthetics, Special Care Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, Temporo-Mandibular Joint Pathology, and Prosthodontics, using dental clinics for hands-on training. The final year includes Comprehensive Dentistry Practicum, Dental Traumatology, Medical Emergencies, Forensic Dentistry, Implantology, and a Final Degree Project, supported by advanced clinical facilities and over 1,000 hours of clinical practice from the fourth year onwards.
