What does the 6 year Dentistry Program include?

The six-year Dentistry programme at the Medical University of Silesia comprises 11 semesters of academic and clinical training, all conducted in English. The first two years are dedicated to academic studies and dental theory, establishing a robust foundational knowledge. The next three years focus on clinical training, encompassing general clinical practice and apprenticeships to develop practical skills. During years two to four, students are required to complete practical summer internships, offering hands-on experience in real-world settings. In the final year, the programme culminates with a comprehensive six-month internship in the second half of year six. This internship covers specialisations such as paediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, denture dentistry, and conservative dental procedures, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for their professional careers.
