The 6-year Dentistry Programme at the Medical University of Lublin (MUL) is divided into several phases. The first two years focus on theory and the fundamentals of medical and biological knowledge, providing a strong foundation in dental sciences. The next three years concentrate on clinical practice and apprenticeship, where students gain hands-on experience in dental procedures, including compulsory summer practical internships. The final year includes a six-month internship prior to graduation, covering paediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, denture dentistry, conservative dental treatment, periodontology, and orthodontics. Successful completion leads to a Master’s degree and the globally recognised title of Dentist.
