6-Year Dentistry Program at Sarajevo School of Science and Technology

The Sarajevo School of Science and Technology offers a six-year Dentistry programme in English, combining theoretical education with extensive practical training. In the first year, students study subjects such as Cell Biology, Medical Physics, Medical Chemistry, and Anatomy, utilising modern laboratories. The second year covers Genetics, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Introduction to Dentistry, with access to well-equipped histology and physiology labs. The third year includes Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Preventive Dentistry, and Dental Materials, supported by pathology and microbiology labs. In the fourth year, subjects like Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontology, Radiology, and Internal Medicine are covered, with students receiving hands-on training in specialised dental clinics and advanced radiology labs. The fifth year focuses on Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, Community Dentistry, and Dental Ergonomics, using clinical practice rooms and dedicated labs. The final year emphasises Advanced Oral Surgery, Implantology, Aesthetic Dentistry, Geriatric Dentistry, Research Methodology, and Clinical Practice, with access to advanced surgical suites, implantology labs, and comprehensive clinical practice areas​.
